The county has spent more than $19.8 million to assist nearly 3,000 households with payments to landlords and utilities since September 2024. WebbSkagit Land Trust has been working to ensure that Skagit County has science-based critical area standards that protect our local heronries. Skagit County Planning and Development Services staff proposed a critical area code amendment that would help ensure this happens.
