This legislation applies to employers of those who work from a height, as well as self-employed workers and those who manage people who conduct this sort of work. Webavoid work at height where it is practicable to do so, if this is not practical, prevent falls using either an existing place of work that is already safe or the right type of equipment; if the risk cannot be eliminated, minimise the consequences and distance of a fall, by using the right type of equipment.
