The coming CAREWare FHIR App has features to configure setup and maintain a secure FHIR connection. It is configurable so that more data–above and beyond the fields required for the RSR–can be retrieved if desired. WebNVRC has created three regimens in CAREWare to represent the medications required for Performance Measure and RSR reporting. Providers that maintain medication records in an electronic health record (EHR), or electronic medical record (EMR)system may use any of these stand-ins instead of entering prescribed medications.
