WebMay 20, 2012 · Too much oil might be an issue depending on how much, but a few cc's more shouldn't hurt. Just make sure it's at the correct level with the bike held upright. Get yerself a mirror on a stick. Yeah, the petrol cap can be a bugger when new but it will loosen up with time. You might try a little grease, or the like, on the rubber gasket.
