FIPG or Permatex TRS might hold better but after you need to pry off the pan and hammer it flat a few times the extra hold gets old, that many bolts plus FIPG is typical Gen 2-3 overkill IMHO.

Righto I'm aware there are two main sealants toyota uses with 80's - there's a black one that is described as 'FIPG' which I think is an oil-rated RTV silicone, and there's a red one which is an anerobic sealant much like Loctie 518. I've used 518 before with Saab engines but tend to avoid silicones on those engines.
